On Saturday over 170 people ran or walked the 30 or 50 mile courses along the c2c route, raising over £20,000 for local families facing childhood cancer.

The course covered industrial landscapes, marshland, nature reserves, countryside trails, beaches and seaside towns, starting in either Upminster or Tilbury and finishing in Thorpe Bay.

Katie, our CEO and founder, says

“We are blown away with how much support we’ve had over the weekend. I couldn’t even imagine running that distance, so I am proud and inspired by these participants. What an inspiration they are! Thank you to the volunteers, organisers and everyone who took part.”

We want to say a special thank you to c2c for choosing Gold Geese as the charity partner this year. It means the world to our charity and as we approach our Christmas planning, the fundraising will be put towards spoiling our families over the festive season.

Have they inspired you to take on a sporting challenge for Gold Geese? We’d love your support, please get in touch!
