Our Eligibility Criteria
Our help is provided to children on treatment for cancer in the Southend-on-Sea and Basildon areas (these areas are defined by the community nurse’s coverage out in our Hospitals nursing teams) The community nursing staff will be validating patients diagnosis and treatment status.
By children we mean patients under 18, at the time of diagnosis.
Oncology is defined as the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, tumours and blood cancers included.
To refer a new or unknown Oncology Child to us please use the contact form. Please do not provide the child’s name, address or school at this point, we will be in touch.
Please understand, we have to run checks on word-of-mouth referrals so it can take some time to obtain the correct information and contact families. We do our very best to make sure this process doesn’t take too long.
